David Lopez joins Peninsula Gold with 8 years of coaching experience at all High School and AAU levels. He started his coaching career at Hillsdale High School (2018-2023) where he was able to be apart of a SMUHSD league championship , make two CA State Playoff Quarterfinal appearances, and win a CCS championship in 2020. He also was the Director of The Hill AAU program for 3 years. Most recently, he was hired as the Burlingame High School Boys Varsity Head Coach. In his first season he was able to lead his team to a CCS Semi-Final playoff appearance. He looks forward to continuing to help kids improve their basketball skills and sharing his overall love for the game!
