CEO | Founder

Scott founded Team12Sports to combine his passion for basketball, leadership and the development of young athletes on and off the court. Scott believes that the best coaches have the ability to see not only the reality of where a player currently is but the foresight to envision the kind of player they can become. Every player can get better in the right environment that is both challenging and encouraging.

Scott played four years of college basketball at Mid America Christian University. His team competed in the national tournament each year and won one national championship. After college Scott was the assistant varsity coach at Mustang High School, the third largest school in Oklahoma. Scott has 15 years of high school coaching experience including men’s and women’s teams. Most recently Scott was the Athletic Director and Head Varsity Coach at Chicago Hope Academy. Under his coaching, the varsity girls team won its first regional championship and first sweet 16 in school history. Scott was named one of the IHSA coaches of the year in the state of Illinois. While coaching at Chicago Hope, Scott was the COO and 17U women’s elite national team head coach at Full Package Athletics, a premier AAU basketball club in Chicago. Scott’s 17U team won the 2016 Nike Tournament of Champions.

While coaching inChicago, Scott created a program to take youth teams from America to China to compete against local Chinese teams and participate in cross-cultural basketball camps and experiences and looks to expand these opportunities in the future. In addition to coaching teams, Scott focuses on individual training and has had the opportunity to train many players that went on to play on college teams.
